Arab Business Club signs MoU with Bulgarian Business Council

08 Jul 2010

The Arab Business Club, a leading facilitator of relationships between businesspeople in Arab countries and the rest of the world, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bulgarian Business Club in Dubai. As part of the terms of the MoU, the BBC and ABC will work together to expand their member's connections and access to business opportunities by jointly organizing business events as well as inward and outward delegations between Bulgaria and the UAE.

Katya Galabova, President of the Bulgarian Business Council in Dubai, believes the agreement will open up many doors for Bulgarian business people and entrepreneurs.

"The agreement between the ABC will help the BBC to fulfill its primary mission, which is to promote the interests of Bulgarian business in the UAE market by arranging meetings between officials and business delegations from both countries,"

she says.

Arab Business Club President, Hamdan Mohamed, is also confident that the partnership will be instrumental in developing business ties between Bulgaria and the UAE.

"Bulgaria is a country with potential for investment in a variety of fields, and Bulgarian businesses have a lot to offer the Arab world. By connecting our members and business communities through this agreement, we will expose them to and enable them to capitalise on new opportunities for business and investment," he says.

The MoU with the Bulgarian Business Council comes as part of the Arab Business Club's efforts to broaden its network to serve the interests of its diverse members. With a membership of approximately 8000 people and counting worldwide, the club has plans to establish similar agreements with business councils as well as chambers of commerce all over the globe.

"We are pleased to announce this MoU with the Bulgarian Business Council in Dubai, which will enhance our relationship building efforts and benefit our existing members by attracting more interest from Bulgarian businesspeople and investors," Hamdan adds. "This is only the first of many strategic partnerships we plan to enter into with the aim to open channels of communication and establish stronger business ties as well as friendship and cultural understanding."
